I would like to help a girl who has been a victim of sexual abuse since the tender age of 15. She(Siama Latif Chohan) has been sexually abused to this date by her sister's husband (Mohammad Ali) who is in Kuwait police. This poor girl now associates with her abuser and allows the abuse ( a classic case of Stockholm Syndrome). Her father(Mr Latif Chohan) is a maintenance Engineer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kuwait he seems to be aware of the issue but is reluctant to act. The victim is caught in a web of shame and fear is too scared to speak up against her abuser, possibly because of blackmail or fear of being humiliated. This poor girl is still mentally 15-16 years of age this is the age she got raped by her brother in law. She is now 29 but is being held a hostage by her brother in law. They live in the same apartment(located in Salmyia Kuwait) along with her parents. Her parents are of old age and have health issues. The poor girl has no brothers so she now feels obliged to her brother in law and is being deprived of living a life of her own. I was married to this girl for a period of 2 months. But the marriage was bought to end like her previous marriage and two engagements because of her abuser(brother in law) ..I wish I were equipped with the knowledge of how to deal with Issues of this category. I think her parents are aware of the issue but are too reluctant to take action because of social pressures and possibly black mail from their son in law. Her not getting married is in the interest of her brother in law because he would end up owning all the property and money her parents have made in Pakistan. I would like to help this girl on humanitarian grounds so that one day she may lead a normal married life of her own. This can be substantiated from medical reports. If this girl can be helped in any possible way please help her before her parents die and she is totally left at the mercy of her abuser. Let me know if I can be of any assistance and who else can I contact regarding this girl. I am concerned for the safety and well being of this girl I want her to have a bright future. Thank you.
