Dear Susannah-Joy,
My husband and I are living in Mumbai, India, adopting a child through a US adoption agency. We are required to check child abuse registries in all countries we have lived in. My husband lived in Kuwait some years back. Do you know if Kuwait has a child abuse registry? If so, how would we go about obtaining a check of it in order to get a clearance for my husband? If not, who could we approach to get an official letter stating there is no such child abuse registry in Kuwait? Thank you so much. This is a somewhat urgent matter as the adoption is pending this clearance.
