Hello, Most likely there is no child abuse registry in Kuwait, because if there was there would be some sort of data & the health care system would be informed that it exists. Currently, there is only an abuse registry for the health care system, and the information collected remains highly confidential so getting an official letter would be close to impossible. Sorry that we can't help, but this is more of a legal matter & we have no authority in this field.

My husband and I are in Mumbai, India. We are adopting a child in India through a US adoption agency. We are required by US law to have the child abuse registries checked in every country we have lived in. My husband lived and worked in Kuwait some years back.
Does anyone know if Kuwait has a child abuse registry? If not, how would I get an official letter stating that there is no such child abuse registry?

GlobalSat TR-203 ? это персональное устройство контроля местоположения (трекинга) с функцией быстрого определения координат. Трекер выполнен в компактном и стильном корпусе. Определяемые с помощью GPS координаты передаются трекером через GSM-сеть: по SMS и/или GPRS. Трекер легко настраивается дистанционно. Позицию объекта с трекером можно отслеживать с помощью специализированных картографических программ или сервисов. Среди прочих функций трекера можно также отметить голосовой мониторинг, функцию Гео-зон, встроенный дата-логгер (запись пройденного пути).
При пропадании сотовой сети трекер накапливает координаты во внутреннем буфере (на 10 000 точек). Позже, при возврате в зону действия сети, трекер отправляет все накопленные данные на сервер.
Также в трекере есть отдельная память большой емкости под функцию дата-логгера, на 150 000 точек: в нее прибор записывает пройденный путь. Позже эти данные можно выгрузить на компьютер с помощью USB-подключения.
Настройка с помощью SMS-команд или USB-соединения. Односторонняя бесшумная связь позволяет узнать, что происходит вокруг. Кнопка SOS позволяет разослать по заданным номерам сообщение о тревоге с текущими координатами объекта. Функция Гео-зон (GeoFence) позволяет задавать разрешенные или запрещенные зоны. При пересечении границ этих зон прибор рассылает SMS-уведомления.

Years and years ago, a friends sister was cleaning dishing at her kitchen sink.. The window above her sink over-looked the neighboring house. On the roof top was the old Kuwaiti grandfather who was holding his little grand daugter across his knee and was molesting her with a Pepsi bottle!!!!! She told her sister. And her sister told me months after the incident. I never forgot it. And share it with you.
More recent.. ( a month ago) i get a call from a friend telling me that a school principal confided in her. Sisters in her school somehow communicated to the Principal that their father has raped their sister. The Principal confronted the mother of the girl and she said "it only happened once!".
There has got to be help for the innocent young girls. This is criminal not a private matter.

Some children arrive to the dental clinic & they're nervous and scared from the dentist. I have seen dentists shout and slap children who cry and scream in the dental clinic. I talked about this problem and I was told in MOH pediatric dental clinic, parents are not allowed to stay with children while the child is treated so he or she doesn'y get spoiled and tell the parent, "I want to go home, I'm scared."

It was during my trainee rotation in pediatrics & we had a patient admitted with subdural hemorrhage, age was about 7-months old. Mother was distant & emotionally unstable, the father never showed up (I never saw him at least). The mother's history kept changing. She claimed that the baby had fell although eventually it turned out that she had banged his head against the wall in response to an angry episode. I wanted to call the social worker but my senior specifically told me not to take any action or else i would find myself at the police station because there is no law that protects doctors who report child abuse. The case was documented, the baby was stablized, & then sent back home with his mother.
If you have seen or heard of a child abuse story in Kuwait at anytime and any place, please narrate to us the story WITHOUT mentioning either your name nor the child's name or identity. We would like to benefit from the stories you tell us as it will help us better understand the extent and depth of this problem. Thanks for your efforts.
